UNEP welcomes you to our new interactive project and activity map (IPAM). We hope this map will be a useful tool to you, as you navigate the Wider Caribbean Region. The map provides current data, information and resources related to the ongoing projects and activities of the UNEP Caribbean Environment Programme with specific emphasis on the Assessment and Management of Environment Pollution (AMEP) Sub- Programme and the GEF sponsored Reducing Pesticide Run-Off to the Caribbean Project (GEF-REPCar). In addition, we have included other initiatives coordinated buy our regional partners and counterparts, which relate to our mission of promoting regional co-operation for the protection and development of the marine environment of the Wider Caribbean Region. The IPAM is currently organized according to the Sub-Programme or Project and within each of these there are several thematic layers. Each layer selected provides metadata on the corresponding project or activity. Please note that several layers can be selected simultaneously and these can be superimposed with any of the 10 Web Map Service (WMS) layers( bathymetry, population etc) generated through Google maps.
